We ordered takeout from here last night. I had the taku taku (not sure if the spelling), but it's basically leftover rice, fried, with beans. I think. I had a chicken dish served on top of that. It was absolutely perfect. I loved it. Also ordered were beef empanadas, yellow rice and lomos (again not sure of spelling). Everything is so delicious. I also must mention the green sauce and the parsley and garlic sauce. Wow! So good. Try here if u like Peruvian food or you want to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Best Peruvian in Nassau County by far. I've been to many, however, this one based on food, service, decor, and ease of parking, there's no comparison. Came here early Saturday evening and we ordered the Parrillada for two consisting of Entraña, chorizo, short ribs, anticuchos and grilled half chicken, served with house, salad, and white rice. Let me tell you every bite was heaven on earth. Every bite cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and crisp. Even the rice, yes, the rice was fluffy and flavorful. All this brilliantly paired with a subtle bottle of Pinot Noir. I must admit this simply one of the best meals I've had in 2022 and I can't wait to revisit this quaint little place again soon. Huge credit to owner and staff. I did not forget, Natalia, she made sure my entire meal was flawless and certainly Las Vinas found a keeper. She deserves nothing but the highest praise.

Big shout out to fellow Yelper Lawrence C. for the heads up about this restaurant! I'm always on the lookout for authentic ethnic eats on Long Island and Las Vinas definitely fits the bill! You can't really tell from the exterior but this restaurant is quite lovely inside! Nice vibe and very attentive & effficient service. Free glass of white or red sangria with your Yelp checking and an entree order! My family and I headed over around 5ish for an early Sunday night dinner. It was pretty empty when we first arrived but quickly filled up within the next half hour. We all ended up ordering the same exact entree. In hindsight, we should have dined family-style so that we could try a variety of their dishes. What were we thinking?!?! Our menu tonight: - White Sangria - fantastic! Pretty strong and not too sweet. I hate overly sweet sangria! - Jalea - fried seafood (shrimp, fish, squid, mussels), topped with a citrus onion/tomatoes relish. Honestly, I've had better Jalea in other places, but it was still good. The relish was fine but the seafood could have been crispier, and could have used a little salt and a wedge of lemon or lime. - Entrana - skirt steak with a side of chimichurri sauce (oil and herb sauce), served with a side of organic white rice and maduros. Outstanding dish! The steak was cooked perfectly to my preference. The chimichurri sauce was delish; and the maduros was carmelized nicely. Great dinner! Next time, we will definitely order family style and try their other dishes. They also have nightly specials (which we should have paid more attention to before ordering); a lunch special for $8.95, as well as a 3 course, early dinner special (until 6:30pm) for $19.95 (Mon-Fri only). Recommended and looking forward to a return trip!
